Kidnap Alice filming in Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop

Our beautiful, labyrinthine bookshop, full of nooks and crannies, offers a superb backdrop for film and photography. We regularly feature in photographs, newspapers, magazines, television shows, feature films, and even music videos. Charlie Byrne’s has recently featured in Ken Bruen’s Jack Taylor novels (in which manager Vinny loans Jack Taylor twenty quid!) and their film adaptations: “John Creedon’s Galway;” promotional photos for local shows and bands; and The New York Times.
