strolling through ulysses picCharlie Byrne’s are delighted to welcome back Robert Gogan to perform his hilarious one man show Strolling Through Ulysses! for the second consecutive year! Join us on Tuesday the 22nd of March at 7pm for an evening of literature and laughter!

Hold on to your hats as Robert Gogan guides you through James Joyce’s Ulysses, from early morning in the Sandycove Martello Tower to the final thoughts of Molly Bloom as she drifts off to sleep after a long day.

Humorous, entertaining and enlightening, Strolling Through Ulysses! is scattered with extracts from Ulysses, bringing the characters to life and unraveling the mysteries. So take a deep breath as you travel on this whistle stop tour through Ulysses, with all the fun and laughter which is the backbone of this extraordinary and iconic novel!

Joyce famously declared about Ulysses; “There is not one serious line in it.” Strolling Through Ulysses! certainly proves that!

Strolling Through Ulysses! will take place on Tuesday the 22nd of March at 7pm. Tickets cost €10 and are available in store and also online from Eventbrite. Make sure you buy your ticket early to avoid disappointment, as crowd restrictions may apply.
